About

Born and raised in Lisbon, I inherited my love for language from my poet grandfather. His passion for words—written, spoken, and sung—shaped my path in life and continues to influence my work today. Subsequently, my academic journey led me to a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Translation. Starting as a Foreign Rights Assistant at a leading Portuguese publisher, I discovered my calling in connecting cultures through language.

My professional journey, including roles at the Embassy of Japan and experience in international hubs like Amsterdam, has strengthened my expertise in cross-cultural communication. These experiences prove invaluable in helping global enterprises authentically connect with European Portuguese audiences.

As an EN/FR/ES to European Portuguese Translator and Localization Specialist, I combine precision with cultural insight to deliver market-ready communications. I'm privileged to work with leading global brands, contributing to their success in the Portuguese market.

I also provide specialized manuscript assessments for children's, middle grade (MG), and young adult (YA) literature, along with professional voice over services in both North American English and European Portuguese. Languages aren't just my tools of the trade; they're my daily joy. Whether I'm translating a webpage, voicing a script, or reviewing a children's book, each project is a new way to celebrate what I love most: helping words bridge cultures and connect people.

When I am not working, I enjoy music, audiobooks, and quality time with family, maintaining the balance that fuels creativity and precision in my daily work.
